I really like the hands-on, real-world experience. I got to spend time with the Family Services department, so I got to gain valuable experience with Family Advocates.
What I wish was different
I wish that they had prepared more projects or responsibilities for me.
Advice
I would advise students to network within the organization and establish positive relationships with the employees. This will help with networking after and during he internship but also with having more projects and tasks to help with during the internship.

What I liked
How willing to teach me and let me work by myself my mentor was. I was also very happy to participate in meetings with the manager and courses with other health specialists.
