Amazing service experience! I learned so much about myself, the operations of a non-profit organization, and valuable leadership skills. There's a large focus on the service aspect of the job, but you also facilitate camp weeks. I learned so much about conflict resolution, planning and coordinating detailed projects, and working within a large team of people.
What I wish was different
It's a long, stressful, and high-intensity summer, but it's all worth it!
Advice
Believe in yourself and be adaptable! Things will never go as planned here, but that's part of what makes it such an amazing opportunity for growth. Trust your instinct when you need to make snap decisions.
