Mountain Meadow Ranch is a co-ed, sleep away summer camp for kids ages 7 to 16. We have enjoyed 61 summers of family owned and operated summer camp life, our current directors are our third generation! Uniquely located on a spacious 900-acre ranch north of Lake Tahoe, in the northeastern slopes of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are nestled between the preserved natural beauty of the Lassen and Plumas National Forests, and the wild desert of the Great Basin. We offer a traditional camp program during the best weeks of summer. Our unique summer camp philosophy allows campers to bond and become like family through the many activities we provide.
We are actively hiring for our Summer 2022 camp season! Here at MMR we strive to create a very unique environment. An environment that is contrary to contemporary culture. Where technology is traded for all-present conversations and authentic friendships. Where true fun is had without the help of any substance. Where there is no pressure or expectancy for romantic relationships and everyone is viewed as family. Our mission and our commitment are at the heart of what we do at Mountain Meadow and should be taken into special consideration when seeking employment with our family.

Camp is an intensive short-lived time, filled with kids that need us to be present in every moment. We want staff that is willing to give up themselves for the kids and live a unique lifestyle.

It’s a place where fears are conquered and identities are found. It’s a place where genuine relationships are born and flourish. We are growth, unplugged, wholesome adventure. Our staff serve as both cabin counselors and activity staff, we are currently still interviewing for the following activity positions:
-High Ropes Specialist
-Lake Water Sports Specialist
-Head Backpacking Specialist (WFA/WFR Required)
-Fishing Specialist
-Lifeguards
**NOTE: You do not have to have experience in these areas as we offer/require on site training in all our activity areas! (Backpacking excluded)
