I really loved how the people already working there treated me and how much they taught me during the summer
What I wish was different
I wish I didn't have to wake up at 5:40 every day to get on site by 7 when the work starts
Advice
I think it's a valuable experience even though it seems scary is good to get out of the comfort zone

Field Engineer Intern
May - August 2022 • Gainesville, FL
What I liked
The people I worked with were amazing, it was a very tight knit group who knew how to get the job done but have a good time. The work was great too. A lot of people/project management and depending on your role, manual labor. When the project was slow they would take the interns out to dinner and do fun stuff after work.
What I wish was different
Knowing where I would be earlier and having a consistent location. It's the nature of the construction business though so it was nothing on Moss's part.
Advice
Look for work and opportunities to learn, the more you ask for work the more you will learn and you'll get better opportunities. Also be prepared to work hard if you're not in an office position.
