What I liked

It's a simple job, easy to do but decent pay. Everyone I've met in the warehouse has been friendly. Moosejaw seems to care about their employees. If you want to learn different positions or skills in the warehouse they are very willing to train you. You get one 30 minute paid break for an 8 hour shift. 20 minutes for shifts between 6-8 hours. There is free water and Gatorade available daily in the fridge, and every so often there are free lunches or food from some pretty good places.

What I wish was different

It was very hot during August, and the warehouse is not air conditioned and I wasn't very in shape so it took some getting used to. I also wish there were more opportunities to talk to people on-the-job.

Advice

Try to learn new skills and new things at every job! You never know how it might help you in the future. If you are looking for a job in a building without air conditioning, or outside during the hot summer, do not push your limits. If you have to be active, try to be in-shape before you start. Keep hydrated and take breaks if you need.
