“My ongoing internship has given me a suite of first-hand experience--in the field, in the lab, and with public presentation--that has built a solid foundation for my professional knowledge. Not only have I been able to work under the wing of a very experienced marine biologist who has passed down tons of knowledge to me, but I have also gained experience that gives me a head start in my future career. Just as important, though, is how many memories I have enjoyed and formed because of these experiences second only to a true marine biologist, which will live with me forever.”
