It was very informative. I was able to walk away not only with great job experience, but also with hands on research experience that I have already used in the classroom. I loved getting to hear professionals' career stories and know that they were able to make it work. I liked the variety of projects I was given and the flexibility with time.
What I wish was different
There's not a lot I wished was different. There were some times that projects were completed quicker than my boss expected so they had to scramble to come up with something to fill the time, but I think that can be a good problem to have.
Advice
Don't be afraid to apply even if you aren't an English major or in the humanities. This is an experience that is good no matter what programs you're in. Everyone can walk away benfiting from this job.
