I was able to meet several amazing people that work for the university that I would most likely not have met if it wasn't for working on campus. They were all so loving and wanted to know if there were any ways they could help me in all aspects of life.
What I wish was different
There were times I had nothing to do so I would sit at my desk and stare at the door, waiting for someone to come in. I wish they would have had something for me to do.
Advice
Working on campus was very eye -opening. I did not realize how much behind the scenes stuff that occurred on a daily basis. It definitely gave me more appreciation for what all university employees do.
