minutiae is an Anti-Social Media app and art project created in 2015 by photographer Martin Adolfsson and neuroscientist Daniel J Wilson at New Museums incubator program NEW INC in New York City.
We created minutiae as a counter-reaction to the staged perfection on social media. The app has been featured in Wired, Financial Times, Monocle, Vice, Hyperallergic, and many other places.
Our goal is to encourage the documentation of life’s “in-between” moments. We’re looking for someone to help us share our story about the importance of documenting the ordinary moments of life.
