Flexible hours, really engaging work, dealing with a select group of the public. The people who came to the museum were people who, for the most part, wanted to be there.
What I wish was different
The pay isn't great, but that's kind of to be expected for a part time summer job for a local non-profit in a small town. Being a docent at a small museum isn't exactly a job that pays the bills.
