The Middlesex County Environmental Health Division is the lead agency for environmental services for the municipalities in the county which contract for services. These services include monitoring and enforcement of environmental health standards to control air pollution, solid waste, hazardous waste, noise, and water pollution to protect workers and the public from hazardous substances and toxic catastrophes, and to protect against other environmental threats. The Middlesex County Environmental Health Division provides or makes available air pollution, solid waste, recycling, noise pollution, water pollution, septic management, and geographic information system services on a county wide basis.
