What I liked
This research gave me a better view about my future. It will definitely help me to make a better decision wether I want to go to a graduate school or go to industry right after undergraduate.
Also it taught me a lot of new lessons and those lessons are helping me in the classroom.
Another thing I really liked about this REU was that the university paid for everything in addition to my salary while I was there.
What I wish was different
I wish I was more prepared and had a better idea of what I should expect. The first few weeks, I felt a little behind and I needed to catch up.
Advice
Definitely, definitely apply for internships or REUs during summer. They help you to close the gap that there is between the real world and college.
