Equipment Engineering Intern

March 2022 • Colorado Springs, CO

What I liked

I liked how I was able to learn about multiple pieces of equipment and was able to work on my own projects at the same time.

What I wish was different

When I first started, I wish I learned more about possible career paths since I only started learning about them recently.

Advice

I would make sure to always ask questions and find ways to learn new things.

Analog Validation Intern

January 2017 • Chandler, AZ

What I liked

This internship has given great hands-on experience. You are expected to work as a real employee. You are not given work to do that is not beneficial to the company. Work with Altium, scopes, DMMs, SMUs, part handlers, Confluence, LabView, Teststand, and soldering.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more interaction with the end product. Our department works with validating macros on testchips before they are integrated on the final product.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions. They expect you not to know anything, so asking questions shows you at least have the initiative and drive to learn
