I enjoyed that this was a rotational internship so I was able to spend some time and learn in each department. There was time in the office, and also time on farms, which was a great balance.

What I liked
During this internship with Farm Bureau Insurance, I was able to incorporate my interest of the Insurance field into a team environment.
What I wish was different
I wish that during my internship I had been given a more significant role with more difficult duties. Although I had conducted large projects, unfortunately some of my duties involved getting coffee and filing (MANY) documents.
Advice
I always like to share my favorite quote by Jim John, “ learn to be thankful for what you have, while you pursue all that you want.”
