Working with an amazing group of passionate people, led by two amazingly strong women. I liked recruiting volunteers through calls and texts, as well as running trainings for phone banking and more. Running a youth meeting to educate my peers on current social issues and introducing future congressman Jon Hoadley were my favorite moments.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to devote to the fellowship, as it was the fall semester of my final year in college as well as the time period in which I took the LSAT.
Advice
Don't be shy! Your personal story and the things you're passionate about shine through when you let it. The more you connect with people, the better our future is.

What I liked
I loved getting to network in my community and survey the issues that people care about the most

I think I would have liked more internal structure, but I was part of the pilot program and I believe in the potential of future branches of this program.
