I liked the hands on experience of leading weekend messages as well as leading small groups.
What I wish was different
I wish things could have been in person more, but due to COVID we had to do most meetings on zoom.
Advice
Take advantage of the resources provided for you and do not be afraid too ask questions.

Youth Ministry Intern
June - August 2019 • Miami, FL
What I liked
I loved the hands on experience of doing ministry. I was able to build relationships with the students and see God work in their lives. I also liked being able to see some of the conversations and work that goes on behind the scenes in what all ministry entails.
What I wish was different
I wish I would’ve had a better sense of the vision of youth ministry and specifically at Miami vineyard. I lacked the ability to see the “why” behind every “what” that we did.
Advice
In ministry we can’t fix people. We are called to simply be there and do life with the students.

What I liked
Knowing that everything I've ever experienced was tailored for this position. The overwhelming feeling of knowing that that's my calling and the difference God will be making through me.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
To pray about your purpose. The dreams that you've had, your passions; that's all for a reason and not to be overlooked.
