The experiences and opportunities I was presented with during this internship are one in a lifetime. I was given a first hand experience of everything that appears on the news or that we read in textbooks. I liked how the internship was structured and how the interns are treated. There was not a single day I did not want to go in, no matter the time. I also appreciated how welcoming and comforting officers of all ranks were to me.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish had been different would have been to have had the internship a little longer and have more communication with officers.
Advice
One piece of advice would be that, whatever mentality you go in with will be challenged and maybe even changed. A whole new perspective is seen and there will be many life-changing experiences.
