The Metropolitan Police Department- Washington DC wants to build an exciting partnership with the University of the District of Columbia students and faculty.
We have developed a semester-based system with other colleges where we bring students to our police academy and other specialized units like K9 and youth/family services to give them an idea of what a career in law enforcement could look like for them. We also offer in class Q&A sessions and would like the opportunity to build a student Ambassador program with UDC.
We also have many openings for internships in the Chiefs office and other specialized units
