What I wish was different
Communication was terrible. How these job works are as a student you can receive a monthly stipend for rent as well as an hourly wage. I did not receive any information on my stipend until the day I was moving in, and after calling for hours I had to drive to the location and speak with someone on the HR team. I was told at the beginning that I would be completely reimbursed for the down payment on my apartment, for the job, but on my last day when I went back to collect my check for this, I was told last minute that I would only receive half of my down payment reimbursement. This job is not what it says in the description. You are working hard labor, and will be asked to use little to none of your educational knowledge. Management is rude, and abusive. There is no place for growth in this company, because the racial and gender bias is extremely prevalent. This is a internship where you can make some money, that's it.
