What I liked

A summer at Metigoshe is a summer like no other. The friendships, work skills, and faith that you build over the course of the summer are next to none. And you get paid to spend time being silly and having fun with kids all day! Metigoshe offers a community that is irreplaceable, and you will feel at home and loved at all times!

What I wish was different

Nothing! This is an experience that I will continue to pursue as many times as I can!

Advice

If you are on the fence about a summer camp job even a little bit, DO IT!

I wish it was more affordable to spend a summer working at a camp so more staff could have this experience and the camp can continue to grow in size.

Advice

working with young (and not so young) people is far more rewarding than I would have imagined.

What I liked

Absolutely everything about working at camp is truly amazing. The people you grow close to, the kids you work with, and all of the fun activities you get to do every single day! Working at Metigoshe is also a terrific way to grow in your faith.
