What I liked

I loved being able to interact with all the patients and getting to know the staff. Everyone there was so helpful on my first few days. I loved the atmosphere and the community I came to be apart of.

What I wish was different

I wish I got to spend more time with the patients and getting to know them better. Being a CNA, I had to sit with patients for safety when I wanted to be on the floor more. I know it’s important to the patients to be safe, but I would like to be more apart of getting to know the patients.

Advice

My one piece of advice would be to listen to your nurses!! They are a great resource and know more about situations than CNAs do.
