They gave me a lot of freedom to take on more responsibility and bigger projects. Treated me like a legitimate employee.

I wish it would’ve started earlier in the summer.
Advice
If you want to bring more to the table, tell your employer what your strengths are and how you can contribute more. You’ll get great experience out of it.
