POSITION SUMMARY
The primary objective as a member of store management is to provide our customers with quality team service, clean and organized surroundings in accordance to the company standards and instructions; sharing the responsibility and accountability for sales performance, productivity of staff, loss prevention, merchandising, safety and operating functions of the store while in charge.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers in accordance with the flex-service program.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that merchandising/recovery is completed and that register and customer service area is processing customers in a timely manner.
• Maintains store appearance including reactive merchandising, general housekeeping of store, and recovery at the end of the day.
• Has daily knowledge of sales goal and effectively works with staff members to achieve them. Knows concepts of visual presentation and uses this knowledge to maintain company standards.
• Opens and closes store based on store schedule in the absence of the Store Manager, Co-Manager or Sr. Assistant Manager.
• Ensure proper cash control within company policy. Ensure banking procedures within company policy. Assist in maintaining payroll within established guidelines.
• May supervise 5 or more staff members in the absence of high ranking management. Such employees handle customer needs, selling merchandise, merchandising and recovery, operating register.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
• Safeguards company assets, property and store inventory from internal and external losses.
• Assists in training new staff members in the areas of sales, procedures, customer service, and merchandise presentation.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience >1.5M - A minimum of 6 months previous experience as a Third-Key Manager in a similar retail environment or 6 months experience as sales/cashier at UFOT or in an equivalent position in a similar retail environment. Ability to supervise 5 or more staff members in the absence of the store manager.
>1.5M - A minimum of 6 months experience as a 2A in a lower volume store at UFOT or 1 year experience in similar retail environment. Ability to supervise 10 or more staff members in the absence of the store manager.
Computer Skills
Ability to operate a POS cash register, calculator and related equipment.
Other Requirements
Basic math ability is required, i.e., add, subtract, multiply and divide. Hands on involvement in floor moves and visual merchandising. Exposure to recruiting, interviewing and training of staff members. Ability work long hours, including evenings and weekends and holidays, as necessary. Maintain a business-like,
professional and well groomed appearance at all times. Must have reliable transportation and able to take bank deposits to the bank.. Must be able to provide a phone number to be reached in case of store emergency by Alarm Company or staff members. Occasional travel for training meetings may be necessary.
