What I liked

I enjoyed the people I work with and the patient interaction I got to experience. I got to do a bunch of hands on work and took information I learned in class and applied it to my job. My boss is an amazing mentor and is constantly teaching you.

What I wish was different

I sometimes wish our store was busier, however, it is sometimes nice to have down time in order to learn more information without feeling constantly pressured to help people.

Advice

If you are interested in pharmacy, I would highly recommend interning/working at Medicap. You get a ton of patient interaction and a more personable experience to the pharmacy world. You also get to do patient care work such as blood pressure/glucose screenings at the senior center in town.
