What I liked

The people at the company were extremely nice. There were two locations I worked from, one downtown Cleveland and another in Brooklyn. Both buildings were very nice and had many perks with them. My favorite was the cafeteria which served amazing food for cheap and I looked forward to whatever meals they were serving every time I worked in person.

What I wish was different

The job was hybrid, with only two days mandatory in person a week. I did enjoy this, except sometimes when I worked in person the office felt lonely. It actually got changed during my last week there, but I wish there were days required that everyone had to be there instead everyone juts choosing which days to show up.

Advice

No matter what internship or what company you land at, keep trying to learn and ask questions to others in the department. My rule of thumb was if I got stuck on something for more than 15min, I would start seeking advice. Problem solving is important so always try to solve on your own first, but you do not want to waste a ton of valuable time when a peer may know exactly what to do.

What I liked

I loved the Intern Program

What I wish was different

I cannot emphasize how little my individual internship position was prepared for -- my first day I had zero materials and felt extremely alienated.

Advice

I would tell someone to never, ever be afraid to reach out for help and speak up.

Advice

Befriend the other interns! Don’t worry too much about the presentation at the end, but do be prepared for questions.

What I liked

The company had a really nice culture. It was a very pleasant experience.

What I wish was different

There wasn't a lot of work prepared for me, so there was a lot of down time.

Advice

It helps to know some code beforehand, as most of the internship involved coding with SQL. Even so, I didn't know any SQL coming in and I did alright.
