“My favorite part about working for Mckenney's was I told them during my interview I wanted to get into Project Management and wanted to be out in the field and that is exactly what I got to do. I was working full time this summer CO-Oping in Social Circle, Georgia building a Facebook Data Center. During this CO-Op, I worked hands on everyday on the job site helping full time project manager with whatever tasks they needed and learning more and more about what the company did everyday. I was tasked with meeting everyone at the site and working with them directly to solve their needs. I learned about all the mechanical systems that are incorporated into this design, learned how to markup construction drawings and learned how to work with top of the line project management computer programs in order to make sure everything on the job site stayed on schedule. Along with this, to show my knowledge and hard work off at the rest of the semester, I was given the opportunity to present what I learned in front of my Co-workers.”
