McCownGordon has a one of a kind internship program that allows its new associates to gain real world experience in their chosen field. As a field engineer intern I was given the opportunity to assist the superintendent in day to day operations. My favorite part was that the summer was set up so that I could get out of it what I wanted to learn.

Field Engineer
April 2018 • Brookings, SD
What I liked
The wages were nice. I enjoyed learning about what I will be doing right after I graduate. The company is amazing and feels like a family. I also liked that they offered me a full time job in December.
What I wish was different
I only wished that I didn't have to go back to finish school to take classes that are unimportant to my job.
Advice
Do an internship but try a lock on to what position suits you before you decide.
