I wish the internship had started later. I had to leave school early to start my internship.
Advice
This was the most fun work experience I’ve ever had. Definitely worth going agency side for a summer to ease yourself into your career aspects.

What I liked
Frequency of work depends on the speed of the account and your role, but all of the clients are interesting and fun to work on. Creatives have more range of brands to work with. Project Management was a busier management internship than account and provided more hands on work. The company is large but the company culture is distinct. They are one of the few places I've worked that actually lives the "work hard play hard" mantra.Everyone I interacted with during my time there was friendly and helpful in my search for what I wanted to do post-grad and great to work with.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been an optional rotational program for students who would've liked to work in other departments and try other things. It can be hard to find the time to explore other aspects of the agency with a busy internship schedule and a large workload.
Advice
Be open and receptive to criticism and make tangible changes in your work. Speak to as many full-time employees as you can to get a sense of the company and what you want to do. Take advantage of the resources available to you (workshops, development events, lunch and learns). Always ask if your team needs help if you're not busy. Be honest about your workload and what you can take on.
