They are very patient with new learners but that being said they also do not waste any time getting you into the industry. You feel important from your first day on.

McCaffrey Talent and Valerie McCaffrey Casting Intern
September - December 2021 • Van Nuys, CA
What I liked
I was trusted with a lot of responsibility and I was able to master certain tasks like pitching clients for roles, submitting auditions, and contacting clients directly. I was treated as an equal in the office, even as I was being taught new skills.

Advice
I would advise future interns to remain open to trying new things. It's okay to not be perfect in all the little details all the time; a lot of the work could be considered subjective, and remembering that you're there to learn helps when you feel confused about how to approach a task. Don't be afraid to ask for help, and do communicate often with the others in the office, especially when you feel unsure.
