The people at MBL were great. I gained far more experience in these past 6 months than I expected. From CFRA to AdviceWorks and from client relationships to financial decision making, this internship covered a lot. The breadth of knowledge I gained at MBL will remain with me throughout my career.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were more assignments. There were some days where I did not have too much work to do. That being said, even the more menial assignments were exciting to work on.
Advice
I would advise people to freshen up on their knowledge of retirement plans. As an Econ major, I had to learn about financial products as I went along. Having an understanding of the business beforehand will give you a head start.
