My 2023 winter internship at Mazars provided me with valuable hands on experience in the field of auditing. I have developed many skills and have a much greater concept of what to expect after college. This experience has gotten me more excited to continue in this field. Overall this internship was a positive and rewarding experience for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

What I liked
The internship program itself was run amazingly! Tia, Ray, and Evan were great directors and provided us interns with so much guidance. They were there to answer all of our questions and get to know us as people. I learned so much from the work that I was doing in the Financial Services group. Everyone I worked with was super willing to help and explain things to me that I had not necessarily learned yet in school. Overall, it was a great internship where I learned a ton about the tax accounting industry as well as many other insights that will help me as I enter the professional world.

Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions! The people you work with understand that you are an intern and may not understand how to do everything so never hesitate to ask for help.
