I absolutely loved the flexibility of care I was able to give to my patients as well as how flexible this job was to my schedule.
What I wish was different
I wish I had known how slow the pace of work would be compared to a facility or hospital.
Advice
Time management skills looks very different when you’re in a patients home working with one person at a time. You don’t have to rush to do anything or you’ll get bored pretty quickly. Don’t be afraid to establish personal relationships

What I liked
I like that I get to work with different types of children. Every case is unique.
What I wish was different
I wish the hours worked were different. I would love to be able to work 8 hour or split shifts in addition to the regular 12 hour shifts.

One piece of advice that I would like to share about my experience is to take advantage of all the training opportunities that they have available.
