What I wish was different
2 Hour commute each way, every day was hard, and unavoidable (at least via public transit). Also, sometimes talking to voters (persuasion) was hard, and scary. While many people are friendly and happy to talk, some are threatening or have extremely challenging beliefs to talk through/ persuade. And some neighborhoods did not feel very safe -- would not recommend this position to someone who is not good at talking to people, confident, and feels comfortable in neighborhoods with high homeless populations/ lots of drug use.
