What I liked

I appreciated seeing all of the preparation work that goes into missions trips and the school year alongside the inner workings of the church as a whole. Jon was encouraging and communicated well all throughout the summer.

What I wish was different

I wish there had been more opportunities for student interaction and ministry throughout the summer. We did a lot of projects, planning, and meeting work. I enjoyed the training and experience, but there wasn't a ton of opportunity for that throughout the summer.

Advice

Be intentional with the office time that you get throughout the summer. If you commit that time to communication and task management, you will be much more efficient in getting all that is needed to be prepared up to each event.
