I liked being surrounded by other people who all cared about the same thing. It was also a great opportunity to get real research experience as a freshman in undergrad at a 2 year college that most 4 year colleges don't even give.
What I wish was different
Nothing, it was a really great opportunity and I'm glad I was able to do it.
Advice
Jobs care about experience so do research, even if its not exactly what you want to do. You will learn other skills like time management, teamwork, communication and other things like that in a professional environment.
