My major of criminal justice and minor of political science were both applied in this internship which I liked a lot. I learned a lot about our criminal justice system during my time in the office. I also learned about how our bills and laws are written and applied to the real world which I learned a lot about in my political science classes.
What I wish was different
Advice
My advice would be to always try to be doing something or learning about something even if there is not a lot to do on a given day. If there is no particular assignments that the office has you do then try to read articles or keep up with the news related to the field you are in.
