What I liked

Gave me broad exposure to many facets of the healthcare industry with respect to business practices and finance. The program gave me work in multiple parts of the company (Strategy, Advisory, Research) and allowed me to develop my skills in team collaboration, presentation and was a really useful resource for networking.

What I wish was different

Sometimes the workflow would vary. Sometimes I would be very busy with individual or team projects while other times I would have little to do and told to simply keep up on current events and healthcare news which became boring at times.

Advice

The team is great but your experience will depend on how much you put yourself out there to full-time staff and higher-level executives. They all are excited to meet and talk with you about your career goals but it requires you to reach out and be proactive, so do so as early as you can to form good relationships and get more out of the experience.
