What I liked
All freshman are able to go to the career fair. Take advantage of that. I met with recruiters my first year even though they were only hiring juniors and seniors. Once I became a junior I scored my dream job in Hawaii with Four Seasons!
What I wish was different
Mock networking with classmates might be a good ice breaker to allow students to gain more confidence for the career fair itself.
Advice
Go to the career fair! It might be scary at first but step outside your comfort zone and start networking.

they are slow to hire more people to help during peak times and everyone gets burnt out

I get to experience a different side to customer service and the hours work with my schedule! My co-workers are lots of fun too.

I wish I could have gotten more hours so I could pay for more things!
Advice
I would say that overall my summer was pretty busy because of work, but it also kept me in a productive mindset. I would encourage people to try getting jobs rather than depending on others to fund your needs (that is if you have a choice).
