Sometimes it took several weeks to receive important appliances needed for the job.

What I liked

I enjoyed having the experience of living the life of a graduate student. Working alongside four Masters students in my lab, this proved very helpful for my discernment of the future.

What I wish was different

I wish there would have been more interaction with my PI and the other graduate students working in my lab.

Advice

Research is not all glamorous. It is challenging, frustrating, and confusing at times. But that is what makes it all the more rewarding when research does go well.
