What I liked
I was exposed to many aspects of probation as well as community restitution outlets such as nonprofit organizations.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have been qualified to meet with more probationers besides over the phone or sitting in on a visit.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone is willing to help you as it helps you gain experience. During my internship, they always told me just to let them know if there was something I would like to know more about or be involved in.
