Seeing what day-to-day life was like in a veterinary clinic, which is the setting I ultimately want to work in.

I wished I'd made more of an effort to involve myself in what was happening around the clinic.

To make an effort to get involved and learn about what the doctors and staff are doing so that you get the most value out of the experience.
