I love my co-workers and our restaurant motto: Help people. Serve others. Be a part of the community. My managers are very gracious and understanding in many ways, and everyone on the team just tries their best to be helpful to each other & to our guests.
What I wish was different
I wish that the hours were more consistent and that communication was better. It's hard for me, as the person who cooks things, to know what to cook if people don't tell me what they are running out of or need.
Advice
I would advise someone to bring a water bottle with them to work because working in a hot, crowded kitchen can dehydrate you easily. I would also advise getting a good night's sleep because you'll be on your feet all day.
