I got firsthand experience on what the business world is really like. I was a full time employee there for four months, and was treated just like the other long term, full time employees. I met a lot of people at the company, both in and out of my department.
What I wish was different
I wished I could have tried more areas in the company to see what they were like, rather than being tied to the one specific area and only getting the one experience.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to people. Talk to everyone and learn about what they do, because you might discover a new position you didn’t even know existed, and might meet someone that could help you down the line.
