The staff provided a very friendly and welcoming environment for patients and fellow co-workers. They helped me learn and grow as an intern and I was able to improve my interpersonal skills. It was an all-around great atmosphere to work in.
What I wish was different
During certain times of the day, the patient load was very high and put added stress on the physical therapists and the staff to provide quality patient care. These busy times of the day would provide a good challenge for our time management skills.
Advice
If you are going into a clinic type experience like this one, one of the best things you can do is bring a positive attitude. Patients and staff feed off of your energy and it can make a world of difference when providing care.
