Everyone is very kind and professional. I got just as much out of it as I put in. The harder I worked the more I learned. Everyone was very willing to answer questions or investigate topics with me.

More study time would have been nice. But being busy helped me learn a lot.
Advice
Figure out the work flow first! You can be extremely helpful and even a vital member of the team if you understand the way things are done and why they are done that way. Always write down new instructions and keep your notes organized.

What I liked
The county hospital is an incredible place to work. The employees are hard working and friendly! I really enjoyed the amount of experienced professionals I was able to learn from. I had slot of leaders to look up to!
What I wish was different
The internship was an amazing, eye opening opportunity. I wish I took the opportunity to spend more time with the revenue cycle department.
Advice
Now that I work in a corporate hospital I would tell future students to ask more questions from the leaders of this internship and keep a clearly note book of everything learned. Take this time to also apply for a position.
