I liked getting to experience various parts of the Health Information Management department. I loved seeing what a day in the life of an HIM worker is like.
What I wish was different
I do wish that I had been able to spend time with the coders in the HIM department, but they were working at home at the time due to COVID-19, so I understand why I was unable to do so.
Advice
I would say to enjoy the experience and be sure to ask questions.
