Very good learning experience. You get to learn how to read and follow blueprints and a variety of power tools and machinery.
What I wish was different
I would have definitely counted this as an internship if I could have. Mandatory overtime depending on the season, high turnover so I wouldn't expect long term employment unless you are willing to put extra work into it.
Advice
Show up early, work overtime when possible. Safety is key in that job.
