Photograher

June - August 2019 • Boston, MA

What I liked

Small-scale, you get to know everyone. You can connect straight to the CEO

What I wish was different

1. Receive minimum wage 2. More experience that'd truly help my photography skill. (This employer doesn't really need you to have any sort of photography skill, all they care about is upfront product photos - you don't have ANY creative freedom. Anyone with an iPhone can do this job) 3. A more inspirational boss rather than someone who's lazy, whiny boss who slaps people around. I feel like I was more like a maid than an intern. 4. More company culture or outside-of-work events

Advice

Don't work there. This does nothing to help your photography skill, your career or even your financial status. You'll end up with a selfish lazy boss who slaps you around, always tries to add your work hours (even though you have a mutual agreement to work for certain hours), always gets impatient at you and keeps complaining.

Photographer

September - December 2017 • Boston, MA

What I liked

Great independent experience in marketing, photography, and fashion

What I wish was different

A little more guidance would have been nice - the job becomes the same thing everyday and the learning stops after you make it up the curve.

Advice

Though, as a photographer, you may want to make every item a piece of art, very few are. Sometimes getting the job done is the best you can do.
