You are treated as a member of the team. It's as if you're more than an intern and a large part of the team. You will get plenty of great projects, that will actually contribute to the company.
What I wish was different
Budget cuts, and management reform caused me to be in limbo. It was like restarted my internship, when I have been here for weeks. Lost a great boss and mentor. And feel a bit disconnected.
Advice
Try to make it to as many meetings as possible if you are invited. It can help you learn the language, and get a better network. Don't be afraid to ask anyone for help, or to help contribute!
