Account Executive (PR and Marketing)

What I liked

I loved the team atmosphere. We would start the morning doing team exercises and pump up the moral. This is a zero seniority position, everyone that I worked with have all started from the position that I was in.

What I wish was different

I wish that they handled payment schedule better and were more transparent. The hours are long.

Advice

Commission based, great for internship. 10 hour work day. Management training. Transparent promotion details. Great team building experience. Company works with well know companies such as Comcast and AT&T. This position is great for an internship. This is a direct marketing position, which means you are dealing with customers 1 on 1 in person and over the phone. The day starts at 10 am and ends 8 pm at the office, you will be driving out to "the field" work locations either in pairs or by yourself. If you are highly motivated you can work your way up to senior management in under 2 years.
